Hashiguchi spent a lot of time in Berlin, documenting the squat scene, street punks and other movements/subcultures. This has some of that, but also a lot of street scenes, flea markets, people at home and buildings, more a portrait of a place and it's people that a portrait of people in a place. And he's an excellent portraitist.
