Scarce early book from Washington DC’s Guild Press comprising; Tools and equipment, The chase, The approach, A word is worth a thousand pictures, The attack, The moment of truth, Undressing, How to keep your gays, A fond farewell. A fascinating curio of pre Stonewall America. Had you bought this book in 1964, the chances are you would have been on an FBI list! Marshall was an intersting figure – after being thrown out of the army he ran a photopraphic studio in Montreal, wrote pulp porn novels, contributed to Manorama, Gay International and Two before leaving the ‘scene’ as it were and opening a comic shop on Queen West in 1966.
