Contemporary fashion is what happened when Aoki started taking pictures inside shows as well as outside. This issue has shows from Alexander Mcqueen, Jean Colonna, Jack Mauritsz, Comme des Garcons, Margiela, Dice Kayek, Marc Lannoo and Fred Sathal. The publication has the same informal feel and eye as the Street magazine, and being the nineties is also much more ad-hoc than the equivalent today. There’s also a brilliant post show analysis at the end, which is both incredible perceptive and very articulate. Basically a magazine by insiders aimed at insiders and knowledgeable fans. Mcqueen was really firing on all four cyinders that season too.
