Experimental ‘paper theatre’ book from Terayama. The principles behind Terayama’s paper theatre were that a book or object can embody the narrative and spirit of a play rather than simply portray it, through text, photograph, drawing and collage. Here he works with Daido Moriyama and Tadanori Yokoo to convey the anarchic spirit of the troupe anfd their work. One of Daido’s first works, some images would later appear in Japan : A Photo Theatre.
