His first book. Early on Marcoupoulis worked for Warhol and then for Irving Penn, during this time in NY he shot Basquiat, Warhol, Jeff Koons, William Dafoe and most of the downtown crowd plus early hip hop and street culture. There’s something very quiet and considered about his early work, especially considering what where he was and what was going on. Something special.
