A really special one. Parr and Badger included this one in Volume 3 of ‘The Photobook, a history’, I’m not sure what they have said, probably something glowing and insightful, but one doesn’t have to worry about that too much as the book is very brilliant anyway. It’s also pretty rare as it was never for sale. To the newcomer it looks and feels similar to Nick Waplington or Tom Wood, but Neville produced the book as an album to give to the people who featured in it, so though it’s a social documentary, it’s also a personal photo album, a scrapbook and visual diary of a place and time- and it’s so good!
