Based on the 1977 photo exhibition ‘Let’s take back our Space’ is an body language analysis of over 5000 photographs taken by Wex between 74 and 77. It’s a little speculative in parts, but essentially solid. The historical analysis is brilliant, but the main draw for the casual reader will be the thousands of vernacular photographs from the mid seventies used as documentation. A classic case of a book serving dual purposes the author could never have conceived of.
