Absolutely astounding photographic portrait of Sydney’s Kings Cross district in the late 60’s/early 70’s, with Rennie Ellis taking the pictures and Wesley Stacey writing the text and interviews. The area was full of hippies, strip clubs, gamblers, general free minded people, eccentric locals, gay rights activists, i.e. classic bohemia (sort of), the pictures are really amazing and the text is fascinating. Very complete as a project. One of the greats!
