Ed Ruscha's Five Girlfriends seems to be what people want from this one, but there's more! Ant Farm, Archigram, Archizoom, Francois Dallegret, Haus-Rucker-Company, Craig Hodgetts, Les Levine, Onyx, that Ed Ruscha - and my favourite part - a section documenting the Minneapolis conference 'Hennepin: The Future of an Avenue', which is basically the life of a street and what to do with it. It's such a rich resource and starting point - each section could expand into a full book very easily. Maybe at their best thats what magazines do.
